Cindy Payne MS, LPC-Intern
Mark E. Hundley, M.Ed., LPC-Supervisor
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern under the supervision of Vanessa Moore-Hundley, MEd, LPC-S. I strive to provide an environment that is free of judgement where clients feel safe to express their thoughts and emotions. I believe in a collaborative therapeutic relationship built on support and mutual trust. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults with depression and anxiety. I am also passionate about working with clients experiencing trauma, abuse, grief, and relationship and interpersonal issues.
Many clients need help navigating past or present challenging life transitions. Therapy can be a useful tool to help anyone navigate the twists and turns of life. Through a mind body connection approach, I integrate practical tools such as mindfulness, relaxation techniques, guided imagery, and creative art therapies in my practice. These tools, combined with a safe, supportive, and encouraging atmosphere, allow individuals to learn new ways of coping and the ability to overcome obstacles.
I consider it an honor and a privilege to participate in my client’s journey of healing and self-improvement. I offer flexible evening and weekend appointments.
